I also am not sure of the purpose a map would serve. Certainly a listing of OER initiatives and their properties (a 'mapping') would be useful. But an actual map, as a visual representation, might make a good presentation slide, but beyond that is too static to be useful. Of course I ciuld be misreading the intent of the enterprise.
