[Oer-community] OER for Distance Education Students

Dear Brothers/Sisters,
Greetings.  Thank you very much for being given an opportunity to be with you in 
this group discussing on very pertinant issues in OER Movement.  Really, it is 
very interesting to read the views of experts on OER issues from different 
cormers of the world.  The discussions are not only interesting but also 
informative.  In this context, I wish to add that OERs could very well be used 
in Open and Distance Learning in the production of learning materials.  
Development of the study materials becomes very costly.  Under these 
circumstances, it is our time to think and do how material production for ODL 
could be made cost effective availing the existing OERs.
