Dear Susan,
you don't need to unsubscribe people manually. I suggest you to add the 
following text in the bottom of each mailman regular delivery:
"To unsubscribe from this list just send a message to: 
oer-community-unsubscribe at athabascau.ca"

If you need help with the list or other admin issues, I can assist you 
or I can take the admin tasks of this list, as you prefer.
